the new shop i'm browsing this week is stilleben and i'm quite taken with their selection.
so many small artists and makers! i keep seeing the moebe print frame popping up everywhere, it's going on the christmas wishlist.

bonus points for the pair of owners being designers with impeccable taste. in copenhagen. so dreamy and cute i could eat their brick-and-mortar. or just lick the walls. maybe that requires permission though.

in the midst of home-hunting, researching bank loans is no fun. but looking into houseplants so IS. i want to find out how to take cuttings. so i'm reading the plant like crazy.

my better half is cooking, i'm clicking like crazy and feeling really good about next week, even though it sounds like it's going to be a hectic one (filming & shooting). but our furry companion just discovered catnip and he's hilarious! so, all in all, another great week.

i've been going over the ikea newcomers spilled around the web and came across this one.

so perfectly styled it makes me all gooey and warm inside. 

in fact the word i'm looking for is effortless. the sink sits so incredibly simple in its setting, only framed by the imperfect walls and window. the cutting boards and small plant add just enough visual contrast, all hidden from direct light, while the cotton rag gives the sense that it's all lived in.

that's the magic, i guess. 

good job, ikea people! good a&b!

playing with typetodesign is as fun as predicted. 

it's a nice outcome for 36 days of type, no? all wrapped up in a tiny, simple site that's just so darn adorable. the resolution helps too, these could easily turn into great prints.

i finally got into society6. i know, it took a while. i've always admired them from a respectable distance, but anna dorfman's last post reminded me it's such a quick, easy way to get our small design experiments made into real life stuff.

can't wait to upload one or more files & get to meet these babies in real life. i'm thinking art prints, mugs or blankets. 
i'll be keeping an eye out for free shipping offers.
